The highlight of my day was that Rose Levy Beranbaum, cookbook author extraordinaire answered my question!! A personal note to me!!! I am such a food geek...this will be a high for at least a week. I tried two new things today, chocolate ribbons and using cake strips. Rose suggested using them when baking a cake. I created my own with foil and wet paper towels. They worked beautifully. So, who cares that my car is in an auto cacoon at the Wilco Hess in Fairlawn and my cell phone is on its last leg...Rose Levy Beranbaum!!
