Quick Library Cobbler

My favorite Radford library lady gave me the recipe for this quick cobbler years ago when we first moved to Virginia. I was sad to discover she has retired. I always knew the cookbook section would be cutting edge because of her passion for cooking. Now, this recipe is not gourmet but so quick and good!
JT made this dessert for our Taylor-Walker Fiesta.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 can cherry pie filling

Mix all but pie filling. Pour pie filling in 9x9 pan. Top with topping. Bake 350 20-30 min till brown.

What a wonderful recipe! I LOVE cherry pie filling! This is going straight away into my recipe box. Librarian who gets to order the books....dream job!
