Can I blame the KOA for failed cinnamon rolls? Well...probably not. I did plan to pop them right in the oven at the correct time: however, 2 hours later, I returned and didn't know what to do with my over sized and over-raised rolls. I cooked them and the smell was wonderful but the texture was that of over-raised ruined rolls.
Which was really sad because I was trying an experiment-2 pans: 1 pressed flat after rolling and the other left as is. I once heard that smashing them flat before the second raise was the secret to great rolls. Now, I will have to try this recipe again.
I will try again. I love the idea of overnight anything.
